GeoSafari® Jr. Explorer Scope

Bought this for my 5-year-old's nature walks—she loves spotting tiny details on leaves that we'd never see otherwise. The focus knob is easy for her little hands to turn, and the soft rubber eyepiece makes it comfortable to use for long observations.

The eyepiece is sturdy enough for my 3-year-old to grab and twist without me hovering, and we’ve spent a whole hour looking at cracks in the sidewalk. It’s the first toy that’s actually gotten him to sit still and say “what’s that?”

My 5-year-old can actually focus this scope herself, and the twist-lock focus ring really keeps the image stays sharp once set. The built-in slide viewer is great for little hands looking at soil and leaves
