The hand crank feels sturdy and the cams create a surprisingly smooth lift for Santa and the sleigh. My kids were genuinely captivated as they decorated the winter scene and tested different cam positions. It's a wonderful hands-on way to introduce mechanical motion concepts.

Watching the cam mechanism actually lift Santa’s sleigh with each crank made the engineering concept click for my 8-year-old. The wintry scene backdrop adds a nice touch, and it’s held up well after a dozen cranks.

My 7-year-old loved cranking the handle to see Santa and the reindeer actually move across the scene — the cam mechanism is super clever. It took us about an hour to assemble, and the instructions were clear enough for us to follow together. The final result looks beautiful on the shelf, and it's ge
