My 8-year-old figured out the field guide in about ten minutes and was matching songs to birds before dinner. The recordings are crisp enough to tell a robin from a sparrow. It's a clever way to learn without feeling like a lesson.

The bird recordings are so clear and realistic that my daughter actually identified a robin in our backyard. It's a clever way to teach kids about nature while they play a puzzle game.
