We got this for our 7-year-old, and she loved figuring out how to make different sounds with the included instrument-building parts. It’s been a great way to mix creativity with a little science learning.

My kid spent the whole afternoon building the little percussion instruments, and I was surprised how clearly the kit explains sound wave concepts. The instructions are easy enough for an 8-year-old to follow on their own. Definitely sparked a new curiosity about how music actually works.

My 6-year-old loved making the cardboard harmonica, though the straw sections needed a little help to stay in place. The booklet explaining how sound waves work was a nice bonus for us parents. A solid kit for rainy day fun.
