Science4You - Crayon Lab

My daughter begged for this the moment she saw it, and the whole process of melting the wax blocks and pouring them into the molds kept her focused for a solid hour. The kit comes with everything you need to make about a dozen crayons, and seeing her face light up when the first one came out perfect

The instruction booklet is clear enough that my 9-year-old could follow along mostly on her own. She was thrilled to see the finished crayons come out of the mold, and we’ve already used the kit twice.

The instruction booklet walks you through the chemistry behind the colors, which kept my child engaged for a whole afternoon. I just wish it came with more wax to make extra crayons.
