I’m really impressed with how the motion sensor works—it triggers the spider just as someone walks by, which gave my brother a genuine jump! The gears and springs click together so satisfyingly, and my son loved figuring out how the motion sensor triggers the spider to retract. It took us about an hour to assemble, and the creepy-crawly reaction when you walk by is genuinely hilarious. A perfect blend of building and pranking.

My kid had an absolute blast building the retracting mechanism with the springs and gears, and the electronics hookup was easier than I expected. It’s genuinely creepy when it moves, but the pride on their face after engineering it themselves made it totally worth it.
