The decorative night sky lid was a nice surprise—it really makes the jar look cool sitting on the shelf. My daughter loved pressing the chia seeds into the potting mix and watching them pop up after a few days.

The chia seeds sprouted in less than a week, which kept my son checking his jar every morning. The decorative night sky lid adds a nice touch once the sun goes down.

My kid was thrilled to layer the potting mix and chia seeds into the mason-style jar, and the night sky lid adds a nice touch to the finished habitat. It’s sprouting faster than I expected, and the whole process kept them engaged for a solid afternoon.
