My six-year-old spent a whole rainy afternoon launching those pump-powered orbiters across the living room, and the paint-your-own planets were a huge hit before we even got to building the mini models.

My 7-year-old absolutely loved building the pump-powered orbiter ships and launching them across the room. Painting the planets was a nice bonus activity that kept her busy for another hour.

The paint set included only four tiny pots, which barely covered the planet models. Building the spaceships was fun, but the pump mechanism felt a bit flimsy for the price.
