LEGO® Interactive LEGO® Mario™ & Standard Kart

My son loves how the Mario figure reacts with sound effects when you drive the kart over the colored bricks. The build took us about an hour together and was surprisingly sturdy once finished. It’s a clever way to combine the video game feel with actual building.

The way the kart actually clips onto the track pieces is surprisingly sturdy, so it doesn't fly apart during play. My kid spent a whole afternoon just swapping out the ramp sections to see how far Mario would launch.

My son loves building the track and racing against the interactive LEGO Mario, though setup took me a bit longer than I expected. The fact that Mario actually reacts during play is a nice touch. For the price, I wish it came with a few more track pieces for variety.
