Creativity for Kids Magische wervel-caleidoscoop

Putting this kaleidoscope together with my kids was a fun little project, and they were genuinely amazed watching the swirls move when we swapped in the second tube. The glycerin gel really does create a cool, slow-motion optical effect that kept them entertained for way longer than I expected.

My six-year-old was mesmerized watching the glycerin gel swirl inside the interchangeable tubes—it's a fantastic way to sneak in a little science lesson about light and optics while crafting. The final kaleidoscope is sturdy enough for everyday play.

The glycerin swirl gel is a neat touch—my kid loved watching the colors shift as they turned the tube. Assembly was pretty straightforward, though I wish the instructions were a bit clearer on how full to fill it. It’s a fun little science craft that actually works.
