The illustrations are so warm and inviting, my toddler immediately grabbed for the book when it arrived. It perfectly captures that overwhelming, tender feeling of meeting your new baby for the first time.

The soft, rhyming text makes it perfect for bedtime reading, and the illustrations are so warm and detailed. My toddler already asks for it every night.

I bought this for my best friend’s baby shower and the poetic lines really capture that first wave of love perfectly. The sturdy board pages are a nice touch, since it'll definitely get chewed on eventually.
