BRIO Metro Railway Set

The faster you push this train, the more the lights and engine sounds kick in — my toddler loves the cause-and-effect. It’s held up well to daily play so far, which is a nice surprise for a toy in this price range.

My son was so excited the first time he pushed the train and it lit up—the faster it goes, the brighter the lights get. The built-in sound that responds to speed makes it feel much more realistic than our other wooden trains.

The sound feature is fun, but the train's motion sensor seems a bit inconsistent — sometimes it lights up immediately, other times barely. My 4-year-old gets frustrated when it doesn't respond. Still, it's a decent set for the price.
