KiwiCo Build & Play Chess Set

The geared drawers that swing out are such a clever touch — they glide open smoothly and make storing pieces easy. My son spent an evening assembling the board and now plays chess daily. The wooden pieces feel substantial and the whole set has held up great so far.

I love how the illustrated guide makes learning chess feel approachable while building the board myself. The wood pieces have a nice weight to them, and the hidden drawers are satisfying to open.

The geared drawers are such a clever touch, my daughter loves how they swing out smoothly. Building the board together was a fun challenge, and the wood pieces feel nice and sturdy.
