My son was thrilled to find a real fossil inside the kit, and the land or sea sorting cards made the activity feel like a real science lesson. It kept him engaged for over an hour without needing any screen time.

My eight-year-old spent a whole afternoon carefully chipping away at the dig blocks, and the excitement when he uncovered a real fossil was priceless. The cards that explain whether each one came from land or sea turned it into a real science lesson without feeling like school.

The digging block kept the dust contained pretty well, and the included magnifying glass helped my kids inspect each fossil closely. I just wish the guide had a bit more detail about each specimen's ancient habitat.
